Pumpkin Spice Quick Bread

- oil
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
- ginger
- cloves
- baking soda
- salt
How to Make It
- Gather your ingredients: roasted sugar pumpkin or winter squash (1 cup purée), eggs (2), honey (2 tbsp optional), flour, sugar, and the rest.
- Prep your homestead ingredients — wash, chop, and measure: roasted sugar pumpkin or winter squash (1 cup purée), eggs (2), honey (2 tbsp optional).
- Roast pumpkin halves cut-side down at 375°F until a fork goes through with no resistance (about 45 min), then scoop and purée. Roasting instead of boiling keeps it from getting watery.
- Cook for approximately 1 hr 20 min. Adjust to taste and serve 10 portions.
- Plate, enjoy, and share with your household!
