Honey Cornbread
A golden, lightly sweet cornbread baked in a cast iron skillet. Your raw honey gives it a floral note and keeps it moist for days — better than any box mix.
Ingredients
🌱 From Your Homestead
- raw honey (3 tbsp)
- eggs (2)
🛒 From the Store
- cornmeal
- flour

How to Make It
- Gather your ingredients: raw honey (3 tbsp), eggs (2), cornmeal, flour, buttermilk, and the rest.
- Prep your homestead ingredients — wash, chop, and measure: raw honey (3 tbsp), eggs (2).
- Put the cast iron skillet in the oven while it preheats, then add a tablespoon of butter to the hot pan and pour in the batter immediately. The sizzle sets a crispy bottom crust in seconds.
