How to Make It

  1. Gather your ingredients: fresh basil (2 packed cups), pine nuts or walnuts, parmesan, garlic, olive oil, and the rest.
  2. Prep your homestead ingredients — wash, chop, and measure: fresh basil (2 packed cups).
  3. Blanch basil for 15 seconds in boiling water then ice bath before blending — it locks in the bright green color for days.
