Refrigerator Pickles
The no-canning-required pickle. Ready in 24 hours, keeps for months in the fridge, and works with cucumbers, peppers, green beans, carrots — almost any firm vegetable.

- fresh dill
- garlic
🛒 From the Store
- white vinegar
- water
- salt
- sugar
- mustard seed
- peppercorns
How to Make It
- Gather your ingredients: cucumbers, peppers, or green beans, fresh dill, garlic, white vinegar, water, and the rest.
- Prep your homestead ingredients — wash, chop, and measure: cucumbers, peppers, or green beans, fresh dill, garlic.
- Pack vegetables as tightly as possible into the jar before pouring brine — they shrink slightly and you'll want a full jar.
- Cook for approximately 15 min + overnight. Adjust to taste and serve 12 portions.
- Plate, enjoy, and share with your household!
