Honey Panna Cotta
A silky, barely-set cream dessert that is the most elegant thing your honey will ever end up in. Takes 15 minutes of active work and impresses everyone at the table.
Ingredients
🌱 From Your Homestead
- raw honey (1/4 cup)
- fresh goat milk (1 cup, optional partial substitute for cream)
🛒 From the Store
- heavy cream
- unflavored gelatin
- vanilla
- salt
- fresh berries or fruit sauce for serving
How to Make It
- Gather your ingredients: raw honey (1/4 cup), fresh goat milk (1 cup, optional partial substitute for cream), heavy cream, unflavored gelatin, vanilla, and the rest.
- Prep your homestead ingredients — wash, chop, and measure: raw honey (1/4 cup), fresh goat milk (1 cup, optional partial substitute for cream).
- It should barely hold its shape when unmolded — if it bounces like jello, you used too much gelatin. For panna cotta, less is more. 1.5 tsp per 2 cups liquid is the right ratio.
- Cook for approximately 15 min + 4 hr set. Adjust to taste and serve 6 portions.
- Plate, enjoy, and share with your household!
