How to Make It
- Gather your ingredients: winter squash (any variety), fresh herbs for garnish, farro or quinoa, olive oil, lemon, and the rest.
- Prep your homestead ingredients — wash, chop, and measure: winter squash (any variety), fresh herbs for garnish.
- High heat (425°F) is non-negotiable for roasting squash. Lower temps steam instead of caramelize — don't crowd the pan.
- Cook for approximately 40 min. Adjust to taste and serve 4 portions.
