Honey Glazed Roasted Root Vegetables
Your honey does something to roasted vegetables that no store-bought honey quite replicates — that raw floral character comes through in the glaze.
Ingredients
🌱 From Your Homestead
- raw honey (3 tbsp)
- root vegetables or squash
- fresh thyme
🛒 From the Store
- olive oil
- salt
- apple cider vinegar
- garlic
How to Make It
- Gather your ingredients: raw honey (3 tbsp), root vegetables or squash, fresh thyme, olive oil, salt, and the rest.
- Prep your homestead ingredients — wash, chop, and measure: raw honey (3 tbsp), root vegetables or squash, fresh thyme.
- Add honey in the last 10 minutes of roasting, not the beginning. It burns before vegetables cook through if you add it too early.
- Cook for approximately 40 min. Adjust to taste and serve 4 portions.
- Plate, enjoy, and share with your household!
