A simple flatbread topped with olive oil, garden herbs, and whatever cheese you have. Fifteen minutes under a hot oven and you have something that tastes like a proper restaurant lunch.

Ingredients

🌱 From Your Homestead

  • fresh herbs (basil, rosemary, thyme)
  • cherry tomatoes optional
  • garlic

🛒 From the Store

  • flatbread or naan
  • olive oil
  • mozzarella or ricotta
  • salt
  • red pepper flakes

How to Make It

  1. Gather your ingredients: fresh herbs (basil, rosemary, thyme), cherry tomatoes optional, garlic, flatbread or naan, olive oil, and the rest.
  2. Prep your homestead ingredients — wash, chop, and measure: fresh herbs (basil, rosemary, thyme), cherry tomatoes optional, garlic.
  3. Put your baking sheet in the oven while it preheats, then slide the flatbread onto the hot pan. The bottom crisps up in the first minute instead of staying soft.
  4. Cook for approximately 20 min. Adjust to taste and serve 2 portions.
  5. Plate, enjoy, and share with your household!
