Make pesto in big batches at peak herb season and freeze in ice cube trays. Each cube is one pasta serving — perfectly portioned winter flavor.

How to Make It
- Gather your ingredients: fresh basil or mixed herbs (4 cups), olive oil, garlic, salt, nuts optional.
- Prep your homestead ingredients — wash, chop, and measure: fresh basil or mixed herbs (4 cups).
- Skip the cheese when freezing — add it fresh when you use the cube. Cheese doesn't freeze well and changes texture.
- Cook for approximately 15 min. Adjust to taste and serve 24 portions.
- Plate, enjoy, and share with your household!
